People First Independent Advocacy has been supporting people in Cumbria for over 25 years. We now provide a wide range of support and information services aimed at helping people to live informed, respected, healthy and fulfilled lives.

Our organisation is user-led meaning that our customers are at the heart of all decision making. People First is a person-centred organisation, we care deeply about the rights of each and every customer that we support.

We have teams of staff based in Carlisle, Barrow and Workington, all working from our Best Life Buildings. We are also working in the North East Region and Liverpool.

All applicants must complete a People First application form.

We will not accept CV’s alone for our vacancies, however a CV can be included as supporting documentation.

Voluntary : Applications for Voluntary Roles will be considered and welcome all year round.

Please note that late applications are unable to be accepted after the closing time. Any forms received after this time will not be processed.
