Self Advocacy

If you are someone who has a learning difficulty, we can help you:

  • Meet others in a friendly environment who have similar experiences.
  • Develop new skills and learn how to speak up for yourself.
  • Learn from invited speakers on a range of topics.
  • Go on outings with other members in the group.

This scheme supports adults who have learning difficulties to meet in groups, share their experiences develop life skills and learn to speak up for themselves.

If you have any enquiries, please contact John Delaney at our Carlisle office on 01228-550696 or by e-mail at    john.delaney@peoplefirstcumbria.co.uk
